2022 Heartland District Huddle

Join colleagues from member missions in our district for a day of inspiration, education, and networking! This Heartland District Huddle will be meeting at Resurrection Downtown, located at 1522 McGee Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64108. 

We will have coffee and pastries, as well as a Kansas City barbecue lunch together (included in your registration), along with a time of worship, teaching, and discussion. There will be a tour of Shelter KC's Men's Center, which utilizes the innovative modular bed system from StepUp Beds, with an optional Women's Center tour at the end of the day.

Lillian Cooper

Lillian Cooper
Project Architect, HOK Architects

Lillian has a wealth of holistic wellness experience, having worked on issues critical to human well-being around the world. These issues include:  mental health, flooding, waste management, lack of medical care, public space, public facilities, civic amenities and infrastructure. Lillian is a strong community advocate, having served with a variety of nonprofit and educational organizations devoted to social equity, improving livability and ensuring environmental sustainability. She is helping HOK examine and refine the collective design process to improve the world around us.

Chad Glover

Chad Glover
Executive Teaching Pastor, Abundant Life Church

Originally from Texas, Chad serves as the executive teaching pastor at Abundant Life Church in Kansas City, where he also speaks weekly at Paradigm, a gathering of young adults in their 20s and 30s. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from East Texas Baptist University, a master’s degree from Southwestern Theological Seminar, and a doctorate from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Dr. Glenn Miller

Dr. Glenn Miller,
Co-Founder / CEO, Miller Management

Glenn is the co-founder and CEO of Miller Management. With over 40 years’ experience and passion for his company and this industry, his life’s work has been dedicated almost exclusively to churches, education, and nonprofits. His experience includes consulting and training for countless churches and ministries; teaching for over 28 years at multiple universities and seminaries; serving 10 years as a board member and treasurer for Heartland International Ministries; and serving as a board chair, treasurer, and board member at Hannibal LaGrange University for the past eight years. He has also served at numerous seminaries and Christian colleges as CFO and Dean of Administration.
