Meet Helen

Helen is the managing editor of Citygate Network’s Instigate magazine. She has a master's degree in English from Colorado State University and has worked 25+ years in both publishing and nonprofit sectors. She has served with more than 50 national and international nonprofits including Paraclete Mission Group, Young Peacebuilders, Life for the Innocent, Bridge Builders International, and Langham Partnership International. Helen has worked with organizations that are tackling some of the world's most important issues, including creation care, missions, homelessness and poverty, human trafficking and slavery, church leadership training, pastoral care, prison ministry, social justice, and food security. Helen enjoys reading, movies, music, sports, and getting outdoors with her husband and son.
