Hearten House Gospel Rescue Mission is a ministry of the DCIC, a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization serving DeKalb County with programming designed to give our neighbors a helping hand in raising healthy, financially secure families. We partner with area churches, not-for-profit organizations, government agencies, and neighbors like you to demonstrate the love of Christ within our communities. In April 2018 the DCIC opened Hearten House Gospel Rescue Mission, a women’s shelter. The shelter provides a safe Christ-filled environment where lives can be renewed, restored and re-established. Women will transition out of Hearten House with new life-skills and optimism for the future.
