Organization Description
The Rescue Ministry has been dedicated to serving the homeless, poor, and addicted populations in Western North Carolina for the past 44 years. Current services include providing access to primary medical care, hot meals, food boxes, and clothing for men, women, and children. Residential services include a free 9-month Men’s Recovery Program and a free 6-month recovery program for mothers and their young children with an optional 6-month post-graduate stay. Additional residential restorative services include a Men’s Overnight Shelter and a Women’s Overnight Shelter that offer safe dwelling along with interactive life-improvement courses.
