Program Overview
Ripple Effect is a flexible, action-oriented governance program built to meet ministries where they are. Rooted in Policy Governance®, Citygate Network’s official governance model, the program provides a clear pathway for boards to strengthen their structure, dynamics, and effectiveness over time.
Through a combination of guided learning, practical tools, and optional coaching support, boards are equipped to address common challenges such as vision drift, disengagement, fundraising gaps, compliance concerns, and succession planning.
Whether engaging as a full board or starting with key leaders, participants work toward meaningful outcomes—developing essential governance documents, clarifying roles, strengthening board culture, and building systems that support long-term ministry health and gospel-centered impact.
Ripple Effect Governance Video Package
To expand access and flexibility, Ripple Effect now includes a comprehensive on-demand governance video series—designed to be practical, accessible, and immediately applicable for boards at any stage. What's included:
Six Governance Training Sessions
Professionally produced videos that mirror the live training experience, helping boards engage with both teaching and practical application.
Master Training Manual
A comprehensive guide with facilitator instructions, pacing recommendations, handouts, and exercises—designed for use independently or alongside a coach.
Session-Based Resources
Each session includes PowerPoint slides, handouts, and governance exercises to reinforce learning and application.
Centralized Access
All materials are housed in a simple, easy-to-use shared resource hub for participating ministries.
Flexible Engagement Options
Recognizing that every ministry is at a different place in its governance journey, Ripple Effect offers multiple entry points:
Step One: Introductory Access (Free for Members)
Begin with the foundational Good Governance session to build understanding and vision—ideal for boards exploring next steps.
Step Two: Evaluation ($150)
Receive a review of your bylaws and board policy manual, along with access to the second training session focused on roles and effective meetings.
Step Three: Guided Start ($300)
Step into the full experience with live coaching support, including Zoom sessions with a Citygate governance coach to assess, guide, and engage your board in real time.
Ongoing Coaching Support (Optional)
Additional support is available through coaching calls, board meeting facilitation, document development, and in-person retreats—helping your board continue growing in effectiveness and alignment.
