Organization Description
HOPE Rescue Mission (Union Gospel Mission of Missoula), has been serving, rescuing and transforming those in need by the grace of Jesus Christ since 1999. Our ministries include The Grace House, Hope OutReach, Hope Thrift Boutique and Recycling and the Temporary Safe Outdoor Space. The "Grace House" is our Women & Children's Center; an 18 month recovery program which focuses on keeping (or even reuniting) children and mothers together who are going through recovery. The Genesis Process is our core curriculum and Christ is the foundation. Our Search and Rescue Ministry, Hope OutReach, works with those experiencing homelessness. One goal is to help change the culture of thought; by adopting local areas where many in need congregate, working as a major player in the Montana Coordinated Entry System and hosting the 549-HOPE initiative as a central call center for benevolence, HRM is meeting a multitude of people's needs and creating effectual change. The Temporary Safe Outdoor Space was started in late 2020 and will continue while COVID-19 emergency edicts are in place. Everything we do is so that the Good News is being shared in real and tangible ways. In most cases people just need to be loved and respected, empowered and given a hand up in order for transformation to begin. For us, it's ALL about Helping people, Restoring Hope and Changing Lives!
