Organization Description
Austin Street Center is one of the largest low barrier shelters in Dallas that has served men, ages 45 and older, and women, ages 18 and older since 1983. Beyond meeting basic needs, Austin Street is committed to helping our clients regain their independence and find a permanent place to call home. No matter how they got here, we focus on a caring, customized, collaborative approach that involves a variety of services and special programs to remove barriers to permanent housing.
