Ministry leadership and servanthood are deeply meaningful—but they can also be incredibly demanding. That’s why Citygate Network’s 2026 District Conferences are thoughtfully designed to help ministry staff pause, refocus, and reconnect with the heart of their calling.
Rooted in the theme Above All Else (Proverbs 4:23), each gathering will offer a powerful blend of soul care, leadership development, and Christ-centered encouragement for those serving on the frontlines.
Citygate Network President/CEO Tom De Vries will be joined by Steve Cuss to deliver messages of restoration, clarity, and practical wisdom for thriving in ministry, while each district leadership team has curated programming and activities designed to engage both heart and mind.
Together, they’ll guide attendees through an honest exploration of how to do ministry without losing your soul and how to lead the most difficult person you know—yourself.

- These networking sessions are designed to help leaders and staff build meaningful connections with peers serving in similar ministry areas across the rescue mission network.
We will organize the framework around the seven primary forum categories used by Citygate Network to provide the main structure, while allowing flexibility for participants to connect in smaller subgroup or micro group conversations based on specific role, interest, and attendance.
- These networking sessions are designed to help leaders and staff build meaningful connections with peers serving in similar ministry areas across the rescue mission network.

- 4:00 p.m. – Afternoon Lake Cruise
- 5:30 p.m. – Dinner and evening on your Own
Thursday, September 24

- 8:00 a.m. – Welcome back & Worship
- 8:45 a.m. – Breakout Session 2
- Participants will return to the same networks for a second session, building on the relationships formed the day before. Groups will spend time reflecting more deeply on the content provided by Steve Cuss’s presentation. Participants can stay in the larger groups or break into more specific subgroup conversations, as desired.
- 10:15 a.m. – Closing General Session
- The final session will include a panel discussion, along with additional focused time for ongoing connections to extend beyond the conference and strengthen throughout the year.
