Wayside Christian Mission

Wayside Christian Mission was founded in 1957. Today, we have a multitude of shelters and programs, including a Low Barrier Shelter for men, women and families, emergency shelters for men, single women, and families, transitional housing for men and women, a program for homeless veterans and their families, a recovery program for men, women and families, permanent supportive housing for both homeless men and women with either mental and/or physical disabilities, and affordable permanent housing. We also operate the Good Samaritan Patrol, which searches the streets for homeless persons needing shelter in extreme weather. We provide regular chapel services, Bible studies, and a wide array of volunteer activities and events for our clients.
