Organization Description

Founded in 1904, Star Gospel Mission is Charleston’s oldest rescue mission and a trusted place of refuge for neighbors facing homelessness, hardship, and addiction. For more than 120 years, we have provided safe shelter, recovery support, and pathways to independence in the heart of Charleston’s historic district.
