Organization Description
Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission is now Philly House! As the nation's second oldest rescue mission, this is an exciting time for us as we now have new name and logo that better reflects the broad spectrum of all the various ways we collectively serve the homeless, hungry and hurting in Philadelphia. Our new name—Philly House—reflects two foundational elements of who we are:
- For more than 140 years, we’ve been proud to be Philadelphia’s largest and longest-running shelter, solely focused on serving this city we love.
- We are a welcoming, safe, well-run refuge from the streets for the homeless, hungry and hurting—a place that treats everyone like family, especially those without a home.
