Major Gifts Advisor

Our Major Gifts Advisor position supports Mel Trotter Ministries' fundraising efforts through proven relationship-building strategies with existing major gift donors, as well as through identifying new prospects. This role works in collaboration with a team of fundraisers, under the direction of our Associate Director and Executive Leadership. Our MGA is highly impactful through individual fundraising efforts and participation in collaborative team projects. This role provides relevant news and information that may impact other areas of Advancement or Events, and maintains accurate donor relation records, reports, and analytic data to support our efforts.


The ideal candidate has three-five years' proven track record initiating and cultivating donor relationships, resulting in exceptional fundraising results. Excellent interpersonal skills, professional communication, organization, and an energetic work-style are critical to the success of this role.
