Director of Program Support Operations
The Union Mission in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Director of Program Support Operations. This position oversees Food Services, Security, and Housekeeping/Janitorial and is part of the Programmatic leadership team. The right individual will be theologically aligned with our Doctrinal Statement and familiar and experienced in the areas of oversight, ideally within a rescue mission environment or similar. Must be able to be a Ã¢â‚¬Å“working DirectorÃ¢â‚¬Â, providing not only leadership and direction but direct support to each area to ensure excellent delivery of support services. Requires a professional acumen, customer orientation, and a strong operational focus and execution. The right candidate will have a heart for serving and meeting the needs of those encountering homelessness as well as an ability and willingness to invest in people and in operational effectiveness and excellence. Must be a solid and mature Christ-follower, team player, servant-leader with a stewardship mindset, with proficiency in operations, budgeting, and allocation of resources.
