Sr. Director of Programs

The Union Mission is seeking a Sr. Director of Programs. This position serves on the Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for all programs, services, and support operations (Food Services, Security, and Housekeeping/Janitorial). The right individual will be theologically aligned with our Doctrinal Statement and familiar and experienced in Christ-centered programs and services for a population struggling with homelessness, addiction/recovery and mental health issues. Must be able to cast vision and support/motivate staff to achieve defined outcomes. Requires a professional acumen, significant skill and experience in strategic program design, customer and community care, and a proven track record of effectively establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners. The Sr. Director of Programs will lead departmental staff and participate in the organizational planning and decision-making. The right candidate will have a heart for serving and meeting the needs of those encountering homelessness as well as an ability and willingness to invest in people and in growing programs and services. Must be a solid and mature Christ-follower, team player, possess a stewardship mindset, assertive and effective in program/service development, employee development, and community relations.
