Vice President, Ministries

The Vice President, Ministries provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of all Nashville Rescue Mission programs and services, ensuring that the mission and critical objectives are fulfilled. Key responsibilities include planning, management, administrative responsibilities, implementing/analyzing all the strategies that will produce an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, and goal attainment. This position serves as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.

The right person will inspire confidence in team efforts by leading through their example and motivating others through his/her actions.

Job Requirements:
- BS/BA in Theology, Social Services or related disciplines. Master degree preferred.
- 10+ years of work experience in homeless or recovery services, large church or other large ministry environment
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Team player with positive and optimistic attitude.
- Proven ability to recruit, train, lead and motivate staff and volunteers.
- Excellent conflict resolution skills and demonstrate sound judgement, initiative and independent thinking.
- Professional image with excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
