President/CEO

Our purpose at Valley Rescue Mission is to exalt the name of the Lord Jesus Christ through spiritual, educational and charitable means toward those in spiritual and economic need.

Th President/CEO will lead Valley Rescue Mission in "Serving Christ in the Community". To oversee the daily operations of Valley Rescue Mission with strict adherence to the Vision Statement, and to assure sound business management of the Mission.

Four-year degree from an accredited college or university.

A minimum of (2) two years in a managerial capacity, preferably with a non-profit organization which focuses on the needs of the underprivileged. Requires history of community involvement with civic and service organizations, experience as a public speaker, and experience providing Christian counseling. Prefer someone with experience working with social service agencies.

Mature Christian with a passion for evangelism among the underprivileged, strong organizational skills, excellent communications skills, basic understanding of finance, knowledge of retail operations, knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relations unique to nonprofit sector, and extensive grant writing ability is required.
