Mission Nurse

Our nursing team at Mel Trotter is responsible for the health and wellbeing of guests in our emergency shelter and programs, as well as the assessment and monitoring of guests entering our New Hope Sobering Center. The title of Mission Nurse calls for someone who is skilled, organized, and above all, compassionate. Many of our guests are among the most vulnerable parts of our community, and may have physical or mental health conditions that have been neglected for some time. The job of our nursing team is to provide the best care we can for those individuals, whether that means treating them on site or referring them out to another facility.


This position is part-time. Staff would be required to work 3-11pm two to three days per week. Per diem is also an option.
