Shelter Manager

In addition to overnight accommodations, we give our guests access to warm meals, clean showers, and essential laundry services. Additionally, personalized case management assistance is available to those seeking permanent housing and other person-centered services, such as, mental health, addiction recovery, and social service assistance.

In addition to meeting the requirements of the position, we consider all positions one of ministry.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Manager is responsible for the delivery of services as it relates to the emergency shelter and corresponding case management in alignment with the mission of “Restoring Hope and Changing Lives.” As a seasoned believer, shares the gospel through relational counseling. Implements objectives of Director, monitors services and adjusts service delivery to maximize results. Selects and supervises staff, trains and orients, and evaluates performance. Prepares reports related to department. Actively engaged in community networking groups that are responsible for related services in the community.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
An exempt level position, with negotiable salary with relocation reimbursement. A starting rate of pay for a candidate who meets the minimum education and experience may reflect $51,500.

SCHEDULING:
This position is onsite, full time 40 hours. As an exempt level employee in a 24/7 facility, our manager and supervisor are expected to coordinate a schedule to provide appropriate leadership across 6am-10pm daily. Willing to consider a five 8-hour work days or four 10-hour work days.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree, with 1-2 years managerial experience in related field. Will substitute more years of direct experience in lieu of higher education
