Support Services Administrator

As a Support Services Administrator, you will oversee Men's Ministry administrative processes and all facility support service-related functions for the Men's Shelter facilities. RESPONSIBILITIES
*Provide organizational, spiritual, and administrative leadership to all direct reports, including training, development, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions. *Oversee all Men's Ministry support operations to ensure the highest-quality service to guests, residents, volunteers, and staff. *Accept staff schedules from individual team administrators and supervisors, then consolidate and distribute Men's Ministry staff schedules. *Maintain accurate and timely records, ensuring the physical security, maintenance, and cleanliness of Men's Ministry facilities. *Accept all IT and maintenance requests from Men's Ministry supervisors and create work-order requests with appropriate SUGM departments. Follow up to ensure proper and timely completion of work orders. *Prepare monthly statistical and narrative reports as required. *Participate in SUGM staff meetings and ministry collaboration to ensure the best guest/resident care. *Attend all Mission meetings and training sessions, as required. *Ensure timely and professional execution of all necessary administrative processes, including but not limited to timesheet processing, donations, sustenance payments, and additional miscellaneous income. *Supervise direct report staff ensuring compliance with all relevant SUGM policies, procedures, and training. *Manage, support, facilitate and review the work of direct report(s) by equipping, encouraging, and empowering in their specific areas of responsibility. *Manage, review and approve all department staff hiring and disciplinary actions in cooperation with Men's Ministry Director and HR. *Maintain a positive, pleasant, professional Christian attitude. Work with other staff to forge and model transparent and supportive Christian relationships, which will serve as a Leadership example for recovery program men. *Seattle's Union Gospel Mission accepts and encourages the involvement of volunteers at all levels of the organization. All employees are expected to interact positively and cooperatively with our volunteers. *Attend all Mission meetings and training sessions, as required. *Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE *BA/BS or equivalent years of experience required. *Supervisory experience required. *Two years of administrative experience is required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other software and database systems. **Possess a valid Washington State Driver's License and be able to meet the standards of the Mission driver criteria required, including but not limited to: **Clean driving record **No current suspensions or revocations **At least 21 years of age WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time in a temperature-controlled environment. Requires frequent use of computers, keyboarding, and talking on the telephone. Occasionally will stand, balance, twist, bend, stoop, kneel and reach with hands/arms. Regularly lifts up to 40 pounds and walks using stairways to climb to multiple floors within the facility. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. PRE-EMPLOYMENT This position is subject to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
