Case Manager SUDP MRP II

As a Case Manager II SUDP you will work with a team to help create a safe, healing environment for men in our residential recovery program. A team that provides advocacy-based, trauma-informed, and spiritual counseling, information, referral, and support services to program guests. This position assists in the delivery of effective treatment services and is responsible for case management related to counselor and guest activities.

SCHEDULE
Monday through Friday 9:00 am 5:00 pm / with one evening shift on Thursdays 12:00 pm 8:30 pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

*Process intake assessments and screening of guests.
*Manage a caseload of individual guests in an addiction recovery program.
*Help in maintaining the safety and cleanliness of Son *Shine Inn.
*Provide crisis intervention information, chemical dependency case management, and referral help.
*Communicate with all staff through the Clarity database.
*Identify client health needs and refer to other agencies.
*Maintain confidentiality of client records; ensure file maintenance.
*Complete in an accurate and timely manner client charting and reporting forms. Submit reporting forms as requested by Clinical Supervisor.
*Maintain State SUDP(T) requirements.
*Help coordinate and facilitate support groups, Bible studies, addiction recovery curriculum, and classes.
*Administer observed UA samples for guests.
*Perform welfare checks in guest residences and restrooms.
*Help maintain a positive, pleasant atmosphere at the Son Shine Inn.
*Attend and participate in all Mission, Division, and Department meetings and training, as required.
*Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

CDP/SUDP(T) credentials are required.
*Two years of experience working in social services or a rescue mission context is required.
*Bachelors Degree preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time in a temperature-controlled environment. Requires frequent use of computers, keyboarding, and talking on the telephone. Occasionally will stand, balance, twist, bend, stoop, kneel and reach with hands/arms. Regularly lifts up to 20 pounds and walks using stairways to climb to multiple floors within the facility. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
