Women's Program Director

The Modesto Gospel Mission Women's Building houses the New Life Program that provides long-term residential programming for women struggling with addiction/recovery and homelessness. It is also an Emergency Shelter for women and their children. The right individual will be theologically aligned with our Statement of Faith and familiar and experienced in Christ-centered programs and services for a population of women struggling with brokenness, especially related to addiction/recovery, homelessness, and mental health issues. This is a fabulous opportunity for the right person!

Job Summary: Full-time. Provides spiritual and recovery counseling and case management to disciples, and carries a caseload as chaplain. Supports a Christ-centered approach to life transformation. Creating a team environment, the WPD leads the program staff in developing and implementing programs integrating the vision, culture, and core values of the Mission. Oversees the Women's New Life Program and the Emergency Shelter for Women and Children. The WPD reports to Director of Programs.

Who We Are: The Modesto Gospel Mission is a non-denominational Christian ministry located in the Central Valley (Modesto, CA) about 90 miles south of Sacramento and 90 miles east of San Francisco. The Modesto Gospel Mission has been in operation since 1948. The right candidate will meet our Qualifications for Employment and Statement of Faith, which are available by request.
