Light of Life Rescue Mission (Pittsburgh)
Since 1952, Light of Life Rescue Mission has been a safe refuge for homeless and hurting people in the Pittsburgh area. The Mission is located within city limits on the North Side of Pittsburgh near the North Shore Stadiums and across the river from the Golden Triangle (downtown Pittsburgh). Light of Life Ministries, Inc. has an operating budget of $8.9 million, 70 dedicated employees, and a skilled Board of Directors. The organization is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Programs.

Reporting to and in collaboration with the Director of Programs, the Assistant Director helps provide direction and leadership within the Residential Program for Men and the Program for Women & Children (W&C). Will be responsible for the Program staff overseeing the residential programs, content, processes, and activities, ensuring a common program mission, philosophy and method.

Several years ago, Light of Life created a grace-based healing community with the assistance of Grace Network International (http://gracenetworkintl.org/). Light of Life continues to educate and develop this grace-based environment with both clients and staff, and the Assistant Director of Programs will be a partner in strengthening this approach and Christian community within programming.
