Here is how you, as a Citygate Network member, might consider using the video:
Download and feature this on your organization’s website. The involvement of someone like Amy Grant will certainly cause many viewers to take note. Additionally, if you do not have your own video (or a current video) on your website, you can use this as an added feature to help tell your story.
Send it out to donors. Again, while it is not specifically about your mission or ministry, we designed it to help describe what you do. You might send it with a note saying something like this: Take a look at the video our association just produced. This will give you an up-close look at the kind of work we and others in our network are doing every day. Thanks for being one of the people [families/couples] behind the scenes who are financially backing and helping us deliver life transformation for those whose lives have gone off track. You are a vital part of [YOUR ORGANIZATION]. Enjoy the video.
Play it at your banquet or at one of your fraternal organization’s luncheons. We made it so it will appeal to a wide audience.
Suggest to your local churches that they use it in their small groups or in Sunday school. One of your staff could attend the showing and answer questions at the conclusion. You could even produce and hand out discussion-starter questions.
Here are the guidelines for downloading this copyrighted video onto your website or using it at your mission or ministry:
It may only be downloaded onto the website of current Citygate Network members.
Permission for usage prohibits “doctoring” the video (i.e., shortening the length by editing out certain sections or extracting portions to make your own production). It must be shown in its entirety, including the credits and post-credits commentary.
You may attach your own brief, introductory video message to the beginning of it. You can add a 37-second introduction and still keep the whole thing at 15 minutes (for broadcast purposes).
You may attach a simple screen shot to the very end of it (e.g., For specific information about [YOUR ORGANIZATION], go to [YOUR WEBSITE URL]).
You must take it down within 24 hours should Citygate Network request that you do so.
