Women's Program Manager - Laura's Home

Laura’s Home Program Manager

The City Mission in Cleveland, Ohio was established by Mel Trotter over 100 years ago. We have been providing help & hope to all people through the transforming power of God's love since the beginning!

The City Mission (TCM) exists to serve men, women and children at their point of crisis by empowering them with practical help, restored hearts and sustainable homes.
Laura’s Home Women’s Crisis Center, the Mission’s 166-bed program for single women and women with children, provides essential long-term services such as food, housing, job-readiness training, support groups, and youth programming.

Laura's Home houses an average of 55 women and their children - usually over 150 people - nightly. A transformational journey at TCM begins when a family (single mom with children) or individual engages in the long-term program at Laura’s Home. Laura’s Home is devoted to stabilization through introducing women and children to a residential 9-12 month program. Clients are engaged in structured classes and connected to services with the intention of preparing women for employment, housing and hope for a positive, productive future.
Our clients are engaged in biblical teaching, crisis support groups, professional case management, computer and financial literacy training, and more. Women who are committed to participating in the program work closely with staff to develop goals and feasible steps for accessing resources and obtaining affordable, sustainable housing.

The City Mission is seeking an experienced leader in Gospel Rescue Mission women's care to lead this crisis center as the Laura’s Home Program Manager. The Manager is responsible for client care and programming, supervising staff, managing volunteers and representing Laura’s Home in the community. The ideal candidate will have experience creating, implementing, and evaluating relevant programming while tracking and reporting on measurable outcomes – particularly relating to housing and employment.

The City Mission has always responded to the evolving needs of those we serve. We are keenly aware of the immediate crisis single moms and their children are experiencing through homelessness in Cleveland and around the country. At The City Mission, we’re exploring exciting new ideas in order to meet this growing challenge. A qualified candidate must be able to adapt with the Mission and Cleveland’s serious need as we expand to answer our neighbors’ calls for change.

Interested managers should submit a cover letter and resume to HumanResources@TheCityMission.org.
