Welcome back to Coeur d’Alene for the 2018 Evergreen District conference. There is something magical about Lake Coeur d’Alene that’s hard to define, but it begins with the spectacular North Idaho sunsets and moonrises, the plunge of an osprey after a fish, the glowing lights of downtown Coeur d’Alene reflecting across its waters at night. The perfect place to gather as a district for renewal, learning, and time with colleagues!.

Keynote Speaker

Stacey Womack is the founder and Executive Director of Abuse Recovery Ministry & Services (ARMS). She has dedicated herself to building community awareness around domestic abuse issues from a faith perspective through programs she has developed since 1997. She has served victims of domestic violence (DV) through women’s victim recovery classes. These classes, written and developed by Stacey, are now offered across the US, in Kenya and in Mexico. In her commitment to addressing these issues, she has also written, developed, and currently co-facilitates ARMS faith-based batterer intervention program for men, offered to both voluntary and court mandated clients, as well as a female secondary aggressors group. Stacey serves on multiple DV Councils and has chaired many of these over the years. Stacey’s dedication and determination have grown a small “grass roots” endeavor into a viable organization that has done much to end the cycle of abuse for thousands of women, men, and youth.

  • Engaging People in their Own Transformation, Part 1
The people who show up at our doors each day bring challenges that cannot be overcome without massive paradigm shifts—in their hearts, and in our methods. What if we bridged the separation between crisis services and programs to create an ecosystem where everyone is working intentionally toward a common goal of life transformation? Part one of this workshop, led by a mission leader who has made this leap and seen incredible outcomes, will share more about the whats and whys of the philosophy that inspires their work.
