AGRM Announces 2013 Media Innovation Competition Winners

Competition winners awarded at 100th Annual Convention in Phoenix

Colorado Springs, Colo. (June 24, 2013) — The Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (AGRM) congratulates the winners of the 2013 Media Innovation Competition. Winning publications and digital media were awarded at the 100th Annual Convention in Phoenix, Ariz., on June 13. 

In the seven categories (three divided by budget size) of newsletter/magazine, general brochure, website, video, photo, blog, and podcast, AGRM gave out 33 awards to deserving member organizations. Union Rescue Mission (Los Angeles, Calif.) took home the “Best in Show” award for their website, www.urm.org. Other notable winners were Visalia Rescue Mission (Visalia, Calif.), winner of four awards for ministry website, video, brochure, and newsletter; and Denver Rescue Mission, (Denver, Colo.), winner of best newsletter, and photography.
